Basically, on a map, you specific a channel and signal (NM) value you want to receive, such as LOS or NM > 0.

Then the map will display in a nice...

Ok, I've played with Tvfool using Google Earth awhile back and it was quite confusing to use...

Other than precisenous, what other feature does it give me that the web-based Tvfool does (or can)...

Signal color map and push pin NM values not always in-sync

Ok,

So, I get a map up and then click on a TV station to see its tower location and the signal colours paint the map.

I then zoom into a neighbourhood area and see the colour for that area......

Actually, Samsung LED TV does have a signal meter.. You have to go into its menu system (bottom option I think) and there's a diagnostics/info option that shows "signal strength" for your currently...

Up to a few weeks back, I've been able to get CHAN (RF 22) regularly.. then one day till now, I noticed I could not get it anymore and my signal meter was stuck at a known value that I knew...

So,

I go to coverage map, put my push pin near my location, then see what channels (stations) available.

Then I click the radio button for a particular station.

The map adjusts and zooms...

M4 vs HD8800

Well, my target channels are about 107miles away.

I built an M4 awhile back and compared it to an HD-8800 and they had about similar performance. My RF channels 20 and 22 would get a picture...

How about making yourself a DIY M4 or SBGH antenna for RF 14 (29.1)?

I made those and it works to pull in a similar channel situation (RF 24 for me, 2EDGE, 62 miles away, NM -5dB)...

Wow.. you live so close to towers and LOS. With so many channels at the SW location, a 4-bay antenna like CM4221 aimed at that direction should get you most channels there, and likely even one US...
