my diy 8 bay bowtie does magic...lol and don't have an upside down as long as its not sideways. Sounds like you need two antennas up and down.

I did tests with the 10-9.5 m4 and m8verticle 10-9.5 the 8bay beet the 4 bay always on the very farthest uhf channels. And yes I had to tilt the 8 bay slightly more at less height and less at more...

so just have to state yes uhf only is all manufactures make with bowties.........that being said that's why I made my own with vhf capable of over 60 mile reception.

channel master, or my toughest is one i found on an old TV with an aluminum housing for just buying one good luck! seems as if antenna hardware is getting cheaper and cheaper.

I like my manual rotor with an antenna that works for uhf and vhf. (manual) I can turn buy hand from an extending the mast down to base.

yes the white one is my old one made from aluminum wire. It works well especially on vhf possibly from wider reflector. I herd someone say you can never have to many antennas. Lol.......Here is a pic...

another try upper antenna is my new soldered copper 8bay,lower is my 4year old aluminum whisker the upper one is at 57' high at its top. Yes height does help

I can't post pictures as well on this forum I'm not intelligent enough to use my smart phone. So I took down all channel master bent destroyed and replaced it with my homemade copper soldered bowtie...
