MKE and Chi are almost a perfect 180 apart from me, so adjustments should be a snap. I'll probably just clamp a mast to the gable end of my garage, since I don't really care to climb the towers.

It is connected to one dipole, which is jumpered to the other dipole.

The ground wire, is mainly to bleed off static buildup, so I wouldn't lift it for very long.

Many pro audio amps, boards and effects processors actually have a ground...

Unless you use a TIG, you'd probably just blow right through the casing. That and lack of contact area Maybe nice to practice on, just don't get discouraged.

Those RCA switches have been noted as problematic many times here in the past.

That's why I went with two towers, was because I have a 200 yr old maple dead center in the yard and didn't have the heart to cut it down.

I do like ADTech's #3 solution, though. Maybe someday.

Otherwise, it will just flake off and will end up looking even worse than it does now.
Don't use metallic paint....
