So I was wondering what antenna setup would allow me to pick up the most channels including KSPR-DT, KOLR, KYTV, and KRBK. Those are the minimum channels I would like to receive but would like to know about setup options that would me to Al's pick up as many other channels around me as possible and what the maximum number I should be able to pick up well. Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.

Forgot to mention live in a 2 story house looking to connect to 2 to 3 tvs. 2 on ground floor and 1 in the basement.

Has the CS2V Complete VHF/UHF antenna been installed Above the Roof in such a manner that the roof and house are not blocking reception to the , north/north west , north east , south east , south , south west??

If can not find the discontinued CPA-19 preamp then use a Winegard HDP-269 preamp.

Yes same location but some equipment like the CPA 19 preamp don't seem to be available anymore. I would attempt attic installation first to see how that works and if it wasn't desirable then move to outdoors. Out of curiosity I tried the leaf ultimate and pulled in all the locals listed in the green plus a couple unexpected but the fox KRBK was missing. Like I said bare minimum would be channels listed before plus the fox channel. If possible I'd also like to consider setup options to also pull in other channels listed in the "yellow." Tv's to connect to would be one in the basement and possibly two on the ground floor.

Anyone with any suggestions?

But don't understand the idea of the connector. What if you wanted to go to multiple tv's?

The engineers at KBRK should know that a UVSJ (RS 15-2586) isn't the correct device to combine a UHF antenna with an existing all-channel or UHF antenna.

Go back to your original thread and review the comments by "signals unlimited' regarding this particular aspect of your situation.

Then there is the KRBK station who seems to be suggesting use indoor antennas for the other other channels and use an outdoor/attic antenna connected to the indoor ones to pick up our station.

Different forum regulars may offer different opinions on how to solve specific issues based on their experiences and biases. Most of the time, most of the information is workable and there are usually multiple "correct" solutions possible.

KBRK's diagram was intended to represent a possible solution to picking up their ill-located tower's signal and combining it with a separate antenna for the rest of the local stations whose broadcast towers are at Fordland.

You have the option of trying a single, broad-beamwidth UHF antenna to try and cover both transmitting locations (as was suggested when you contacted us) as well as your single VHF channels or, if that doesn't work, use a separate uni-directional UHF-only antenna to pickup KRBK's lower-powered Springfield transmitter (65 & Sunshine, approximately) and then combine it with a UHF/VHF antenna so that all outlets in the home can share the same set of signals without resorting to either a rotor or a manual switching arrangement.

If I have to go the two antenna route, what do you suggest pairing with the Clearstream 2V?

For 1 Tv connected use No splitter.

For 2 Tv's connected use a , HFS-2D , 2 way splitter.

For 3 Tv's connected use a , HFS-3D , 3 way splitter.

Buy the HFS splitters at , http://www.solidsignal.com or http://www.hollandelectronics.com.

Does it matter on the cable I get? I have been looking at cables from both Antennas Direct and Solid Signal. Or do I need cables at all if a satellite is already installed on the rooftop?

Also, if the Clearstream 2V setup with the preamp as you suggested doesn't work and I have to go to a 2 antenna setup how would the setup change and what should be paired with the CS2V? The CS2?

I was able to locate the Antennas Direct CPA 19 preamp on the Best Buy website and have it ordered and is on its way.

Thought I'd follow up with my final results. Fox KRBK was a no go with the Clearstream2V with the preamp. Other stations were pulled in fine. Was able to pull in the KRBK pointing a directional antenna toward Branson and the KWBM (which is sharing an antenna with KRBK). The signal strength was in the mid to low forties though. Changed the directional antenna to point towards Bolivar and the picked up KRBK Fox with a signal strength in the seventies.
