Another newbie with issues....
Hello all, first post, hope it gets noticed.
I am in the process of throwing the dish away, and going ota only. After chasing around 2 chinese cheapo Amazon antennas and a small RCA, I think I've settled on a Clearstream 4. I am running it on only 1 TV as of now, but want to split to another for a total of 2 TVs. I am trying to get the channels from Madison & Milwaukee, per the wife's request. I am getting most of them, however my signal strength is low at about 50 for Milwaukee on my TiVo Roamio. With splitting, will my channels become unwatchable? I am looking for any additional hardware recommendations for amplifying if needed and a reliable splitter. TV fool report: http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...e1c6acc32ae93e |

The tvfool report is showing 15 feet antenna height above ground. Do Not Delete the tvfool report that is showing antenna height of 15 feet above ground. ----------- The Madison Tv Stations/Channels are easy to receive. ----------- The Milwaukee Tv Stations/Channels are Weaker Signal Strength , are ~60~ Plus Miles Distant , Have 2 Edge Path Obstructions=Hills-Mountains. To see if Signal Strengths Improve and Edge Path Obstructions Improve with Higher Antenna Heights. Please make and post 2 more tvfool reports with exact address and antenna heights of 25 and 40 feet above ground. |
Sorry for the late response.
@25' **http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...e1c6c1c305fdda @40 **http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...e1c6dd533a5275 I am wanting to keep it where it is though. I tried it at 25' when initially installing the clearstream 4, but had worse results. The neighbors trees become a problem I think. 40' is not realistic for me. I am able to receive 6.1 from Milwaukee pretty well, which is the one I wanted mmost anyway. Madison receives well here. I am looking to split to 2 TVs, just curious what splitter/amp combo I should use. |
