no RF 27 WGAL translator in Red Lion PA
 

WGAL is not going to build the RF 27 UHF translator in Red Lion PA, file number 20090824ADX. (It would have been on the same tower as WGCB).

It had come up on Pending applications on my TV fool report, http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...e1c6149c73e9d6
(If it were built it would have killed my reception of WETA from DC.)

I contacted engineering at WGAL and they said the Red Lion translator will not be constructed.

This is good news for people who like WETA in Harford and Baltimore County MD.

(Also, WGAL operates on RF 8 with an ERP of 59KW. The TV fool data base shows 14.1 KW.)
