Need Help with what Antenna in Lilburn, GA (suburb of Atlanta)
I am looking to ditch my cable and just would like the local channels in hd (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, CW, etc.) and have no idea what antenna to purchase. My results page is

do I need an indoor antenna, an outdoor antenna? Any suggestions on reasonable good working models for whatever I need would be really great.

Thanks in advance for your guidance.

An indoor antenna may work if your home construction does not block or reflect signals. An outdoor antenna mounted high enough to clear nearby trees and buildings will do very well.

I would use an RCA ANT-751.

How many sets will be connected?

The following is a Teleview recommendation for digital broadcast tv reception. has a ANT751 antenna with a J type antenna mount , low dollars.

Aim the ANT751 at about 270 degree magnetic compass direction , west.

Here is how to aim antennas ,

Tv Tv transmissions are strong.

A antenna amplifier is not required.

For 1 Tv connected use no splitter.

For 2 Tv's connected use a common simple 2 way splitter.

For 3 Tv's connected use a common simple 3 way splitter.

As always , trees and tree leaves do a real fine job of reducing or blocking Tv reception and so do buildings and other obstructions.

It is best to install the antenna at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions in the directions of reception.

At your location that is , north west , west , south west.

The Tv's Must Channel Scan for the Digital Broadcast Tv Channels , somrtimes named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv setup menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.
