An Antennas Direct CS-2v with the reflector screen removed could receive from the front and rear. With an ideal roof deck and shingles you can hope to receive all the green and yellow highlighted signals on your report.

In the attic, performance is going to be reduced as it gets wet. A load of wet snow will be challenging.

How many TVs are connected will determine what type amplifier would be best.

A http://antennasdirect.com/store/Clea...VHF-Combo.html , in the attic aimed at about 220 degree magnetic compass.

Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

Will most likely receive the Tv stations/channels in the Green and Yellow reception zones down to WOTH-LD.

If you will like to receive Many More broadcast Tv stations/channels then mount the CS2 Complete UHF/VHF antenna above the roof of the house in such a manner that the antenna is Up High.

Remove the Reflector Screen from the CS2 Complete antenna and aim either side of the antenna at about 13 degree magnetic compass.

Here are some above the roof antenna mounts , http://www.ronard.com/909911.html , http://www.ronard.com/34424560.html , http://www.ronard.com/ychim.html , http://www.ronard.com.

Buy the ronard antenna mounts at solidsignal by typing the word ronard in the solidsignal search box.

Here are some places to buy antennas and etc. , http://www.solidsignal.com , http://www.antennasdirect.com , http://www.amazon.com.

Antennas receive the best when there is nothing in the way of reception , reducing or blocking reception.

Trees and tree leaves do a good job of reducing and blocking reception.

Buildings in the way of reception will reduce or block reception.

It is a good idea to locate a antenna at a location that has the least amount of stuff in the way.

----> How Many Tv's are/will be connected?? <----

The Tv/s Must Channel Scan for the Broadcast Tv Channels sometimes named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv setup menu because the broadcast Tv transmissions travel through the air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.

Thanks for the suggestions! There will be four or five tvs connected. Hooked up an old tv top antenna to the whole house the other day and was able to pick up a surprising amount of channels! Do you think im going to need an amplifier or would i be able to get away without one?

An Antennas Direct CPA-19 preamp would overcome all the splitter and cable losses if you used a 4 or 8-way splitter.

Be sure to terminate unused splitter ports with 75Ω resistor caps. http://www.amazon.com/Type-75-Ohm-Te.../dp/B000AAN76Y

Is this CS2 the same as what you guys have recommended? Appears to be UHF only.

If i were to get a more powerful antenna would I possibly be able to avoid a preamp? Something like the HD7084 or CM4228? Even if i do need a preamp i still might like to have something a bit more powerful than the CS2. What do you think?

Teleview provided a direct link to the CS2 Complete UHF/VHF antenna.

Teleview provide the information about the Tv stations/channels in different directions and the antenna to receive them.

Your location has receivable Tv stations/channels in the VHF high band channels 7 thru 13 and UHF band channels 14 thru 51.

In the tvfool channel list are the REAL channels that are transmitted and received , and the Virtual channels.

The Virtual channels in most cases is the Analog Tv channel that the Tv station was transmitting on before the change to digital , many Tv stations kept the Old Analog Number even though the Tv station may or may not be transmitting the old channel.

AS an example and not the only example , WLTW NBC was transmitting Analog on channel 5 , during the change to digital WLTW NBC is now transmitting on UHF channel 35 and the transmission is digital.

There is No WLTW NBC analog channel 5 , the 5 is now a Virtual channel.

More examples.

WKRC-DT Real VHF high band channel 12 is what is transmitted and received , Virtual channel (12.1) is a Virtual channel.

WLJC-TV Real VHF high band channel 7 is what is transmitted and received , Virtual channel (65.1) is a virtual channel.

The HD7084P is a directional All channel antenna that is not the best choice for your location that has receivable Tv stations channels in 2 directions.

The CM4228 is a UHF antenna channels 14 thru 51 that has a , rod type reflector screen , that Is Not easley removed for reception in 2 directions and once removed is not easley put back on.

Thank you very much for the info Teleview! Sounds like the CS2 is the right choice for me. Looks like there are two versions of the CS2, the regular one that is UHF only and the CS2 Complete that is both UHF and VHF, is that true?
