Help with chosing Antenna

I am interested in an antenna that would provide the majority of the channels on the 143 degree range. I tried an attic antenna as well as a home made and did not get any results. Thanks for your time and the report is: http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...46aea0f5900ba0

Your report strongly suggests that you should find lots of strong signals with relative ease.

Have you verified that your TV is capable of receiving ATSC formatted signals? All TVs sold in the US since mid 2007 have been required to include that capability. Most default to 'cable' mode though, so you need to go into the setup menu to change the tuner mode to 'air' or 'antenna', then scan for channels.

If you have an older TV it may need an external convertor box.

A premium option would be the Winegard HD7084P. Other very good options to consider are the Channel Master CM-3016, 3018 or 3020... Or the Antennacraft HD850

Unless you have many TVs and long cable runs, an amplifier should not be needed.
