Antenna selection help for forgotten coast Fl

Since we live on the coast, i need something that can hold up to breezy days
and salt air. I have a small omnidirectional at 30 feet now and am able to pick up tallahassee channels. We would really love to add panama city to our lineup. Oh! when i say breezy i am not meaning hurricane. TIA!!

Your success depends on getting a clear view, unobstructed by trees or buildings.

An Antennas Direct 91XG pointed toward 35° compass and an Antennacraft Y10713 pointed toward 307° gives you quite a few signal to choose from. You would want to combine the two antennas into a single coax using a UVSJ followed by an Antennas Direct CPA-19 preamp.

Wow, you guys are fast with an answer.
The antenna(s) will only connect to one tv. And yes,WJHG is the main channel we would like to add.

The GUM recommendation is "spot on". The VHF antenna pointed to 310 degrees will receive HJHG real channel 7 and real 13, and 9, wihile the recommended UHF antenna receives all of the UHF channels located 38 degrees. I would use a Winegard AP2870 pre-amplifier. This will take the place of the joiner, couple the UHF and VHF antennas and amplify the weaker stations allowing for distribution from any splitter with up to eight outputs.

I am looking at the Pending Applications Included part of the radar report and channel list.

More research shows that WJHG is transmitting on channel 8 not 18 , that being the case , go with GUM's recommendation.

Pending applications are not worth much these days. Any construction permit issued but not fullflled at this time can not be counted on when choosing an antenna system.

In my area alone, one major station WGAL 8 has no plan to commision channel 31 translator that shows up on AF and may even shut down channel recently commissioned 49. WHTM 10 is still runing a 16KW with a directional side mount that was installed for the transition, and sitting on a CP for 19+ KW (double power) transmitter and a new top mounted antenna which has or is about to expire. This also shows up on the TVF as 19+ KW with the new pattern.

There will be some exceptions to this statement, but before designing antenna systems around these construction permits, I recommend you contact the stations engineering department to find out if the pending channel is still in the works.
