So, I've got this antenna(which I know I need to get back up and get higher in the air, but want to solve other problems first) on my roof. Have a cable from the antenna(which has a built in pre amp apparently) to this splitter

http://www.amazon.com/DIRECTV-SPLIT2-2-Way-Signal-Splitter/dp/B005AME1RG/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1342116475&sr=8-12&keywords=2+way+splitter+power+pass

That splits it to my upstairs tv and my downstairs tv. the downstairs tv gets all the affiliates, and the CBS is only partially coming in at this time(I'm pretty sure it's due to height, just have to get more pipe to raise the antenna). The upstairs tv only gets the local FOX affiliate.

Here's my TV Fool Report

I have the power injector for this antenna connected to the downstairs tv. The only things I've thought of are either the coax upstairs is bad(doubtful as it works fine with other antenna I have that's an indoor antenna). Or maybe it's because the power injector is ultimately connected through the downstairs setup(but allegedly it goes to power the antenna and not back through the antenna as the power pass only goes one way(up to the antenna). I also had a different splitter that had power pass both ways and that didn't work either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does this diagram represent the connections you've described?

Dead on. That's exactly it.

Do you have a volt-ohm meter, or one to borrow?

If you unplug the antenna power supply, do you loose reception on both TVs?

Can you swap TVs... does one TV have a better tuner than the other?

Can you move the power supply upstairs, and swap the splitter ports?

SO, I'm an idiot. Changed the tvs, and then got the brilliant idea I hadn't yet tried. I simply tried another cable(brand new this time). It worked. I'm an idiot. I REALLY appreciate all your help and patience. Thanks again.
