Ready to cut the Cable. Have to pay my kids college tuition... I am looking for a roof mount antenna. Will be about 25' up. Would like to connect 3 TV's to it. Probably have about a 60' run to the farthest TV. Any help would be appreciated. I know nothing about this stuff... :(

A simple and easy reception situation. This recommendation is based on the Current Plus Pending Applications of Digital Tv stations as listed in the tvfool radar report of 04-17-2012. Install a Winegard HD7694P antenna aimed at about 193 degree magnetic compass. Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html. The HD7694P the antenna will receive the Tv stations and groups Tv stations to the , north , north east , south east , south , south west. Here are some antenna mounts to mount the antenna above the roof , http://www.ronard.com/909911.html , http://www.ronard.com/34424560.html , http://www.ronard.com/ychim.html , http://www.ronard.com. Buy the ronard mounts at solidsignal by typing the word ronard in the solidsignal search box or buy from ronard. Here are some places to by antennas and etc. , http://www.solidsignal.com , http://www.amazon.com , http://www.winegarddirect.com

Use a plain regular RG-6 coax , RG-6 quad shield is not required or needed. Use a simple common 3 way splitter to connect the 3 Tv's with. Tv station K15DA UHF channel 34 http://www.tufftv.com is weak signal strength. IF K15DA is not received on all 3 Tv's , then remove the 3 way splitter and install a Channel Master CM 3414 four way distribution amplifier. For 3 Tv's connected to the CM3414 that will leave one output unused , put a 75 ohm screw on terminator on the unused output.

The Tv/s Must Scan for the Digital Broadcast Tv Channels sometimes named the 'Antenna Channels' or 'Air Channels' in the Tv set up menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the air from the transmitting antenna to your receiving antenna. DO NOT scan for cable Tv channels.

Meridish has the picture. I am with drawing the CS2V recommendation. In favor of a antenna that requires no modifiaction. Much easyer and will receive the same tv stations. Install a Winegard HD7694P antenna. Aimed at about 193 degree magnetic compass. Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html. http://www.winegarddirect.com
