Best antenna in between clusters 180 degrees apart?
My TV Fool's report is
http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3d0b8634f0973849
Currently using an RCA ANT 751 R inside without an amp or pre amp. The RCA ANT 751 R is not performing as well as I hoped. For example, reception of WFSB (Digital) Channel: 33 Network: CBS is very intermittent and only 11.7 miles away. I'm willing to buy or build (SBGH?) the best antenna or antennas to receive the most stations.
Planning for an attic install.
Which antenna(s) best suit(s) my location?
Do I need a pre amp?
Two antennas or one omnidirectional antenna?
I'm trying to avoid using a rotor or an a/b switch, but I will if that will work best.
Thank you for any help or suggestions :)

Hoping to connect 2 TVs. If I must I'll buy a 2nd antenna for the 2nd TV later in the year.

With "noise margins" in the 40's or more, there's plenty of available power for many TV sets without resorting to any amplification. A typical 4-way splitter and 100' of RG6 only drops about 13 dB of signal.
A simple reflectorless two or four-bay bowtie antenna plus a simple VHF dipole would likely work. The wild card will be whether or not multi-path rears its head as it often does.

This recommendation is based on tvfool radar report of the Current Plus Pending Applications Included digital Tv channels for 03-22-2012. The receivable stations/channels to the south south west are WFTY-DT 23 Univision/Telefutura , WEDW 49 PBS (WEDW is the same PBS as WEDH) , WEDY 41 PBS , WSAH-DT 42 IND. , WTNH-DT 10 ABC , WCTX-DT 39 MyN . I recommend install the ANT751R antenna with a Antennas Direct CPA-19 preamp above the roof aimed at about 26 degree magnetic compass to receive the north group of tv stations/channels. Locate the antenna on the roof so that the antenna has the least amount of obstructions for reception of the groups of stations to the north and south. WCTX MyN , WTNH ABC , WSAH 42 Ind. , will be received through the back side of the ANT751R. That leaves WFTY 23 Telefutura and WEDY 41 PBS not received. The stations received to the north and south will give a full complement of the networks with one antenna. Except for WHPX-TV 26 ION , For the reception of ION install a second antenna above the roof , a Winegard HD9095P antenna aimed at about 125 degree magnetic compass , try the HD9095P with out a preamp with two tv's connected , if a preamp is required then use a CPA-19 preamp with the HD9095P. The two antennas will be two separate antenna systems with separate coaxes and separate splitters that go to the locations of the Tv's. You can start off with the ANT751R and add the HD9095P later. Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.
