Looking for input on a antenna. Here is my reception results.

I cannot put the antenna on the roof due to homeowner association. I think I can get by with possibly mounted to the side of the house under the eve on the NNW side of my house with a basically unobstructed view for 40 miles. I would be running 2-3 TV's.
Could go for an attic mount if it would be better? I have a HUGE attic (regular wood construction and fiberglass composite shingles)
My options?
Thank you for the advice.

Here is the Federal Law that says Yes you can install and use a roof top mounted antenna and Yes you can install the antenna so that the antenna get's the best reception possible. This - Settled Law - The Federal Law has been challenged time after time in court and the hoa's and housings covenuts and cities and the counties and the states and any other crazies that do not like antennas have lost time after time in court. Hoa's are well aware of this Federal Law , yet still try and scam people. Hoa's are the low life scum of the universe. http://www.fcc.gov/mb/facts/otard.html

Really appreciate the info! That being said, what are my options for "side of the house" mount, and results VS. rooftop mount, and results?

This recommendation is based on the tvfool radar report of the Pending Applications Included Only Digital Tv Channels as of 03-07-2012. Install a Channel Master CM2016 antenna up high on the side of the house. Aim the CM2016 at about 284 degree magnetic compass. The digital tv stations/channels will be received in the green and yellow reception zones. . ION Television KPXC-DT 43 at 338 degree magnetic compass will most likley not be received with the CM2016 antenna. To also receive ION , install a Winegard HD 7696P antenna above the roof aimed at about 315 degree magnetic compass. Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html. . Here are some antenna mounts , http://www.ronard.com/909911.html , http://www.ronard.com/34424560.html , http://www.ronard.com/ychim.html , http://www.ronard.com. Here are some places to buy antennas and etc. , http://www.winegarddirect.com , http://www.channelmasterstore.com , http://www.solidsignal.com , http://www.amazon.com , http://www.starkelectronic.com , http://www.3starinc.com. . Buy the ronard antenna mounts by typing the word ronard in the solidsignal search box or buy from ronard.

It is best to mount a tv antenna so the tv antenna has a good clear shot at the tv transmitters. It is best to not aim a tv antenna into a neighbors house as this will reduce reception. It is best to not put the antenna on the opposite side of your house and aim the tv antenna Through Your House as this will Reduce Reception. Tv antennas like elbow room with nothing crowding in to interfer with reception.

A simple common 2 or 3 way splitter should work Ok with the CM2016 for reception of the digital tv stations down to KQDK-CA UHF channel 39 http://www.vasallovision.tv. . If the HD7696P antenna is installed , KPXC-DT UHF channel 21 ION is weak signal strength , If KPXC is not received when using a 2 or 3 way splitter and the HD7696P antenna then install a Channel Master CM3414 distribution amplifier in place of the 2 or 3 way splitter. Use 75 ohm screw on terminators on any unused output ports of the CM3414.
