I am a not so handy and not ignorant, but not tech savy cable cord cutter who has done so with mixed results. I live in SE Michigan (Detroit suburbs 48306). I love not wasting money and no longer channel surfing. I do miss my DVR, DirecTV quality picture for sports, and dislike the hassel of connecting and disconnection my laptop to watch sports on ESPN3 as well as very occational buffering during games or occationally having a very fuzzy picture (both on my roku2 xs (BYUTV sports) and via the Sony Vaio laptop through HDMI).

I am not good with a drill and live in an area where I would feel uncomfortable putting up an outdoor antenna, but I would like to have some antenna to pick up local stations (Toledo stations would be great but not necessary).

Anyway my "system set up" looks like this:

Samsung 52 inch LCD TV(about 4 years old)
Sharp Aquos 42 inch (older but with HDMI input) TV

Onkyo HT-RC360
Roku2 XS
Sony Vaio laptop (3 yrs old w/ HDmI output, but in desperate need of clean up and windows reinstall)
Wii
Really old and lousey Oritron DVD player
Netflix
A router with 5/2.5 300-300 capacity
Xfinity 15 Mbps internet (I am getting 9-14 Mbps speed)

First I would like to add an indoor easy to install antenna. I am going to add a blu-ray player and would like to have a situation where I can store all my DVDs on a player where the kids wont destroy them. I would also like to add a dedicated computer for steeming media content. Finally I would really like to have an easy to use DVR.

I realize this is mostly an antenna help board, but any help with the entire package would be appreciated.

What is really needed is the radar report. Use your Exact address and make the antenna height 25 feet. I can answer all manner of questions that have to do with Tv reception and the electronics that are involved. http://www.channelmasterstore.com , has a new DVR that is very easy to use and has all manner of inputs and outputs.

http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=4. If you do not know how to get the radar report posted buy following these steps. Then get the radar report on the computer screen and copy it from the address bar at the top of your computer screen. The address bar will start like this , http://
