CM-4228HD on 10 ft mast on Eave Mount (appr. 25 ft from floor)
Appr. 20 ft RG-6 satellite cable to split: fm tap and 14 db Nexxtech one-way professional broadband signal amplifier. Output to split 2 tv. Fm tap split 2 radio.

Ch. 13 good at 80% minimum, drop often to 0
Ch. 12 good at 90% minimum, drop less often to 0
Ch. 8 good between azimuth 83 and 108 near 100%

Antenna more near azimuth 83 than 108. (Ch. 6 can reach 55% at 108 deg)

The CM-4228HD is a UHF antenna, for real channel 14 and higher. You need an antenna that is also able to receive VHF channels (2 through 13).

The 14 db Nexxtech amplifier is enough, you do not need any more amplifiers.

Most of your signals are VHF, consider adding a Winegard HD5030 (http://www.winegarddirect.com/viewitem.asp?d=Winegard-HD-5030-Prostar-1000-VHFFM-TV-Antenna-%28HD5030%29&p=HD-5030) aimed at 83°.

Thanks for the answer.

I can exchange the 4228hd. It's sold as a UHF-VHF antenna...
Is there any other antenna that can do both with good results ?
I didn't want any switch if it's possible.
What can be the other solutions ?

Thanks and regards,
Pascal

Install a Winegard HD7082P 'All Channel' antenna aimed at about 110 degree magnetic compass. Here is how to aim a antenna , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html. A All Channel antenna receives channels , VHF low band 2 thru 6 , VHF high band 7 thru 13 , UHF 14 thru 69. At some locations , the Canada tv stations are transmitting both Digital and Analog tv channels. The Current and Pending Applications Included list of the tvfool radar plot shows both Digital and Analog tv stations/channels for your location. For better updated information of the tv channels and the directions the tv stations are located , go to , http://www.digitalhome.ca

Thank you for your feedback.
It's seem that the Winegard 7082p is no longer available in Canada.

What do you think about CM3679 or CM3671 ?

Use the CM3679.

Thank you for your feedback. Just to let you know that I removed the fm tap spliter to put antenna cable directly in the 14 db amp.

Anyway, this was really not a FM antenna.

With face at nearly 90 deg magn. All channel locks with more than 10% upper the minimum value.

Ch. 4 = 92%
Ch. 6 = 51%
Ch. 8 = 100%
Ch. 12 = 100%

Pascal
