Brand new to the site but fed up with cable costs. Think I could get better use out of my money with an antenna and Internet streaming. House is pre-wired for a dish, so I have co-ax in the attic with a direct line to my 'smart center'. Hoping to get away with an attic antenna... Will I need any amplification? What type of antenna should I look for? Will attic pull in my local networks? Any advice much appreciated. http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3d67d9b448340303

Thanks!

The digital tv transmissions are Very Weak at your location. Putting a antenna in the attic Will make them Unreliable and Non Receivable. So for reliable and dependable reception , install a Winegard HD7698P antenna with a Winegard AP8700 preamp , above the roof , aimed at about 340 degree magnetic compass. Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html. . With the HD7698P antenna above the roof , Way too many digital tv stations/channels will be received. Here are some Strong and Sturdy antenna mounts , http://www.ronard.com/909911.html , http://www.ronard.com/34424560.html , http://www.ronard.com/ychim.html , http://www.ronard.com.
