Hi -

I am looking to replace Comcast cable with OTA HD TV from the local channels in Philadelphia. I live in a wooden townhouse with vinyl siding with a row of townhouses about 50 yards south of me, in between myself and most of the Philly signals.

Here's my location: http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3d7fb9b161329cfa

I am hoping to get an indoor/set top antenna if possible. I know nothing about antennas.

Thanks for reading and for any advice!

An indoor antenna should work fine for you, as there is plenty of signal in the air at your location. First try the very basic loop/rabbit ear combination like this (http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103077) Start with the plane of the loop aimed east/west, meaning that when you look through the loop, you are looking either north or south.
