My zipcode is 71260. I currently have a CM4228 with a 3041 DSB amp for OTA. I am looking to purchase an outdoor FM antenna that will mount on the same pole with the CM4228. The FM stations I want to pull in are 40 miles away in zipcode 71203 area.

Any suggestions on what type of FM antenna to purchase would be appreciated.

Either the Winegard 6000 (http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&client=firefox-a&q=winegard+fm+antenna&cid=8888628892416090859&ei=lzV5TKPtG4_iwAWEkeS_Dw&sa=title&ved=0CBcQ8wIwATgA#p) or the Antennacraft FM6 (http://www.google.com/products?q=antennacraft+fm6&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=BjZ5TIOMEoSClAeph8TsCw&sa=X&oi=product_result_group&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CC0QrQQwAA) should work well for you if the desired weaker stations are in the same direction. I have personally used the Antennacraft & was very pleased with it's performance with stations up to 80 miles away.

If your desired stations are in various directions, the Antennacraft FMSS (http://www.electotronics.com/antennacraftfmssfmomni-directionalantennahd-ready-88-108mhz30milerange.aspx) or Winegard 6010 (http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&client=firefox-a&q=winegard+fm&cid=941105515078687202&ei=Gzt5TKSKIY_2wgWbqI3ADw&sa=title&ved=0CAcQ8wIwADgA#p) may be a better choice. Either of these omni antennas should provide better performance then the 4228.

Mount the 2 antennas at least 4 feet apart if possible to eliminate any possible interaction between them.
