My wife and I want to get free tv but can't decide on what best to do. We are considering an antenna then get movies possibly from Netflix. If anyone can offer a suggestion for what type of antenna we should get out TV fool report link is:

Thanks for replying, we are going to have two tv sets hooked to the antenna and we live in a rural area off a main highway. We live in a house, mainly flowering pear trees in the yard.

The antenna is the Winegard HD7082P and the 2 way splitter is the Winegard SP-2052. The most common types of tv antenna roof mounts are the Tri-Pod mount and the Chimney mount. If you are installing new coax cable , then RG-6 solid copper center conductor coax. Find at http://www.solidsignal.com . . Point the antenna at WDRL channel 24 , magnetic compass reading 327. Also notice the virtual channels and real channels , notice that WBRA virtual 15.1 is Real 3.1 . . . ROKU/NETFLIX is Great , over 12,000 Movies and Tv Shows for $10.00 a month

I prefer an eave mount or a wall mount below the eaves. Those methods avoid holes in the roof and allow the antenna to be accessed from a ladder without climbing on the roof.

10' long TV antenna mast is cheap, but the shipping isn't. If you can't find TV mast locally, look for galvanized 1 3/8" chain link fence top rail.
