Hello,

I need help choosing an antenna. We have one TV and plan to get a roof antenna about 15 feet off of the ground attached to the chimney. Currently we have UVerse.

My report is: http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3d60b5ae481172c4

I would be happy with the local channels all within 15 miles - but occasionally someone comes over and wants to watch a soccer game or a boxing match that comes in on one of the stations in Mexico that are ~20.7 miles away.

Thanks in advance!

Tom

Your reception situation is easy , I recommend a Winegard HD7697P antenna and a Channel Master CM9521A rotor and you will have it All. No preamp needed. Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html. Also I recommend new RG-6 coax from the antenna to the Tv. Here are places to buy antennas and etc. , http://www.solidsignal.com , http://www.amazon.com , http://www.starkelectronic.com , http://www.3starinc.com. Here are some antenna mounts , http://www.ronard.com/909911.html , http://www.ronard.com/34424560.html , http://www.ronard.com/ychim.html

Excellent!

Thank you very much - I'll get to work on running the cable from my roof to my TV.

Wow, everything's close to you and lots of channels, I'm jealous. Skip the preamp definitely, lots of channels are in the green zone.
