Hi this is my first post, I was just looking at what is available in my area for getting locals, Where I am located the only locals are cbs and fox and pbs. Would like to get NBC and Abc locals from Bangor ME. Would it be possible from my location and what would I need for an antenna? I currently have a rca antenna 751R mounted on my dishnetwork sat pole mount. It is about 5ft off the ground pointed east. I do get cbs, fox and pbs with it. Also here is my tvfool report. Thanks for any help,
MarcB

Make and post a radar report with the antenna as high as you can safely get it , like at roof top height or make it 25 feet above ground. Use the exact address when making the radar report. How many tv's are/will be connected

I took the liberty of reverse engineering you location +or- a quarter mile, based on the mileage figures in your TV Fool report. A 500' tower would not give you access to the Bangor, ME signals. http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3d838708964ab919

Both WLBZ and WVII are simply too far away.

If you care to post a TV Fool report based on a more practical antenna elevation, it's possible that you may have access to one or more Canadian digital signals.

Thanks GroundUrMast and John Candle for the quick replies, Was just wondering if it were possible for WLBZ and WVII, I am getting good reception for CBS and FOX in HD, Have to settle with them, Do have them on dish (wvii&wlbz) but they are not in HD. I am also picking up CBC out of Canada

-> IF <- you will make a radar plot with the antenna at a higher height , your roof top height and also a radar plot at 25 feet , I can help you , -> IF not <- then I can not help you.

Here is an updated report at about 33 feet. The height of the roof top is about 25 feet. I have a tripod which would add about 8 feet hence the 33 ft report.
