I have an indoor now and only get 15 (weather radar), 17, 35, 41 and 54. I was looking at the big Winegard, but then tack on a remote rotator, mounting, etc. and it adds up quick! I saw the AntennaCraft HDMS9100 and like the compact package with rotator built in. Would it be good enough to pull in at least up to and including the reds?

I have clear flat line of sight from North to East and then spotty trees East to South. I live in the country in a single story, and no obstructions in the clear ... just cornfields! Would plug directly into a Surge Protector (since outdoor antenna) then Panasonic Plasma RF input.

Yes I recommend giving the HDMS9100 a try , it does have some directional capability. I know two people that have the HDMS9100 and it works well in open more or less flat country and no buildings crowding in to close.

If you can do without WGVK (weak PBS) Any of the Winegard HD769X series antennas and a CM-9521 rotator would be far superior. As an alternate the Antennacraft HBU-22 (http://www.antennacraft.net/pdfs/HBU22_.pdf) and lager would also be much more capable antennas. Even the RCA ANT-751 would outperform.

I am not discounting JC's experience with the 9100. I'm just looking at the engineering numbers.
