Indoor Antenna for Apartment

My daughter moved into an apartment and wanted to get an antenna for her TV.
She is very limited due to being in a ground floor apartment.
Just looking to see what the best indoor antenna is out there for her and if she has a shot at getting, at least the main networks.

It doesn't look like an ideal location to me either, indoors and on the ground floor. But, the signals are fairly strong and in the same direction. A lot will depend where she is in the building and the type of construction. You will just have to try it.

It looks like she would need a BIG antenna for VHF-Low channel 5, but a report from rabbitears.info shows WTVF CBS also on real channel 25:

The most difficult channel will be WSMV on VHF-High channel 10 and it's the weakest one.

I suggest you try a GE 29884, which requires assembly, an Antennas Direct C2V, or an Antennas Direct C2MAX which is replacing the C2V. If you get the C2MAX, add the accessory reflector.

I agree with Rabbit. I've used the GE 29884 in several areas
where Rf 6 is in use. It performs very well and may even work
on Rf 5, WTVF's main transmitter. They are usually available
at Walmart for around $50.00 If the apartment has any SOUTH
facing windows, placing the antenna near the window and pointing
it SOUTH would be your best possibility of getting good reception.

If she can live without NBC on RF-10, and doesn't like the size and "looks" of the GE, C2V, or C2MAX in her living room, maybe a Clearstream FLEX or VIEW, or Mohu Leaf would be worth a try. I once used a Mohu Leaf to get 100% reliable LOS reception of a UHF signal with NM=25dB on my TVfool report. ABC, CBS, FOX, and PBS are all higher than that, albeit they are 1-edge not LOS.

WTVF's primary transmitter is the 1 megawatt UHF 25 (moving to 36 later this year) signal.
