Below is my tvfool report for my current home. Any suggestions for direction and antenna would be greatly appreciated:

Hello, Northman11

Thank you for the report.

Where will the antenna be located?

What channels are most important to you? I ask that because your channels are in different directions.

The antenna will be located inside the house. Ideally I would like to get the typical local stations (CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX).

The antenna will be located inside the house. Ideally I would like to get the typical local stations (CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX).Inside is not a good antenna location for your signals. Attic would be a little better; outside would be best.

You will need to do some experiments to see what you can get.

Try an Antennas Direct DB4e UHF antenna aimed at 32 degrees magnetic. Add a preamp if necessary.

WTVD ABC will require a VHF antenna added to the DB4e with a UVSJ UHF/VHF combiner, or switch to a UHF/VHF combo antenna like the Winegard HD7694P:

UVSJ:

If that doesn't work, try the attic.

If that doesn't work, move the antenna outside.

That's the best I can do without seeing a satellite view of your location. If you desire, you can give me your coordinates or address in a PM.

Interesting note: WRAL is doing ATSC 3.0 tests on real channel 39.

WRAL on 48 will move to channel 17 because of UHF Repack:

WRAZ will move to 15:

WNCN will move to VHF-High channel 8:

You will need to switch to a UHF/VHF combo antenna or add a VHF antenna to the DB4e with a UVSJ UHF/VHF combiner.

Thanks for taking time to help me out. I'll give that a try and see if what kind of signal I can get inside, in the attic, and perhaps outside. I really appreciate the help.
