Greetings All,
For the past year, I have received WNYW (New York City) on channel 32
from a satellite transmitter on Mt. Beacon (Dutchess County of NY).
About 3 weeks ago, the signal disappeared and has not returned. Does anyone know
if WNYW has abandoned this station, or if this is just a temporary situation?
The FCC database (and TVFool) still shows this station as being an actively licensed facility.
Thanx in advance.

Hello again, Richard
For others who might want to help you, your previous thread is here:
http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=16122
and this is your tvfool report:

I don't think I can add much more than what I already said in your previous thread, except to call the WNYW station engineer and ask him.
WNYW 32 is only sending 1 watt ERP in your direction because of its directional antenna; you are in its null.

Hello Again, Rabbit73,
Even though the signal was low, I was able to find a spot (in my attic) with enough usable levels for reception. After all, I can actually see the transmitter from my house, so there should be SOME signal to receive.
My Spectrum tool says that now there is nothing but noise on CH 32.
I did send an e-mail to the WNYW Station Manager a couple of weeks ago, but they did NOT reply. Maybe he didn't believe there are still folks using O.T.A. TV :-)
I was hoping maybe someone here had heard something...
Thanx for the reply.
Rich
