I am installing an antenna in my attic connected to 4 TV's in Murfreesboro, TN and am looking for recommendations for an antenna and pre-amp if needed. Below is the link to my report.

Hello, Shannon:

The signal loss in an attic is difficult to predict because of differences in building construction. If you don't have a metal roof, aluminum siding, aluminum thermal barrier, stucco wire mesh, trees, or other buildings to block signals, a Winegard HD7694P or 7697 might be suitable. You have two VHF-High channels, so a VHF-High/UHF combo antenna is needed.

Try a temporary antenna setup at different locations in the attic with one TV and the antenna aimed at 311° magnetic. Don't drill any holes yet. Hopefully, your TV has a signal strength meter to help you.

If reception is satisfactory, add a 4-way splitter. If the signals are then too weak, replace the splitter with a Channel Master 3414 distribution amp.

Your signals are quite strong outside in the clear, so you shouldn't need a preamp unless the building loss is very high. If the antenna was outside, the preamp would probably be overloaded.

Since you have stations in opposite directions, I would try the Stellar Labs dual 4 bay bowtie

You can direct one 4bay NW and the other South and you should be gold

The antenna is only $54.95 at MCM Electronics
