This is my buddy's plot in Dawsonville, GA at 30'. It only gets better at 45' to 50', but we'd have to put it in a tree with a long run to achieve that. All the stations we want to get are the Atlanta stations at 195°. At 30' would Denny's HD Stacker work, or does this call for more extreme measures? Is this site more trouble than it's worth? Would appreciate it if some of you pros would chime in on this. Thanks!

Not immediately in front of it but, there's woods across the street.

What direction is across the street?

Looks like a lot of trees in that area in attachment.

At 30' would Denny's HD Stacker workIt's hard to tell; he doesn't give gain figures and his 19 antennas test has #3 labeled at the top as 7698 and 7697 at the bottom.

If your buddy is willing to gamble on a test I would try the Winegard HD7698P and a CM7777 preamp. I have had some success with miserable signals like that.

It's the property on the NE corner with the detached garage. It's down in a hole and the creek is just off the north side of the picture. Denny told him the stacker would work, but after looking at the Rabbit Ears Longley-Rice maps I told him to hold off. There is no color on his property. The FCC site paints a rosier picture. I trust the TVFool plots more.

He could stack two 91XGs, but there would be no VHF, and there aren't any more big VHF-High only antennas. Take a look at what Calaveras did.

NM at 30 ft is -12.1 dB
NM at 50 ft is -7.0 dB
NM at 100 ft is +3.3 dB

Thanks Rabbit73. I told him it would take 2 years + cable bills to pay for this.
