Being a novice I have no clue to which antenna I should purchase. All I really need is the local channels: ABC, NBC, CBS and definitely FOX so I can watch my Seahawks. Do I need something as big as the Stacker? I will purchase what ever you recommend. Please give me some direction.

My location is a small one story (15 feet high) cabin in a tiny town on the east side of the Cascade mountains. I have a two story (apx. 25 feet high) house 30feet to the east of me that may be blocking that direction.

You do not need a Stacker as the top half of it would be completely useless for you.

All of your available channels are on VHF channels 2-13. Only one company still sells a 2-13 antenna and that's AntennaCraft, model CS600. Don't forget to also order a matching transformer, the antenna doesn't come with one. You do not need an amp.

Aim the antenna a bit to the left of due north and you should be able to pick all the available broadcasts which should net you a total of 10-12 total channels that are all re-broadcasts from out of Spokane.

Thank you so much for your help. I had absolutely no idea what to purchase. I am tired of paying Charter Comm. for a cable to a small cabin I use once a month.
