Hi Everyone and thanks for the great site. It has already been an immense help to me.
So far we am getting 19 stations and 6 sub-stations from the Wilmington area channels which are more or less to my W.S.W. We are using a McLapp design 4bay (the 9"x 8 1/2") cobbled together from two cannibalized cheapie( Eagle Aspen $14.95 each) two bays I already had. The "new" 4bay is located in the attic. Reception is stunningly good, and maintained it's signal through the recent intense low pressure storms we had.
The one station we really enjoy though is WNCT 9 (CBS) which unfortunately transmits from 70 miles to our N.E.

Here is our location/reception report:

Any ideas on an attic antenna for getting 9, or is it just too much of a stretch?

Once again thanks for all the effort that been put into this site.
All the best. Happy Holidays to all. Rich.

Likely your bowtie array does not have enough sensitivity at VHF-low frequencies (rf 10) to pick up WNCT. If there's room in the attic, you could add an Antennacraft VHF-high yagi Y5713 or Y10713 and point it at WNCT. Combine the two antennas with a UVSJ http://www.solidsignal.com/pview.asp?p=uvsj
