I use an Antennas Direct DB8 facing 147° and an Antennacraft Y5713 pointed at 180°. I have a RCA TVPRAMP1R on a 10' roof mounted mast. I have a 4 way splitter and RG-6 cable to supply all 4 TV's. Fox is my big problem, but all stations will fade in and out at a moments notice. I replaced a HBU-33 trying to get more reliable signal. Could a taller mast help correct this?

If all channels are behaving the same, then you have a problem that's common to all of the.
I would start with one TV, the balun, a length of coax and the antenna, only.

I would then, add one component at a time, until it starts acting up.

Hopefully, this will help pinpoint the problem a little closer.

You don't say if this is a new problem to an existing system, or just some kinks that need to be worked out of a new install.

Yes, a taller mast can help.
I have also heard where even lowering it by inches, may help find that sweet spot.

It's a new problem. I did have very poor Fox reception before installing the current setup though. Seems better now but most station signals vary greatly, fading in and out intermittently, especially Fox.

It almost sounds like some coax, or trees may be swaying in the wind.

One possibility is a loose connection, intermittently interrupting the DC power to the preamp or just adding noise to the signal.

What kind of fade? In & out every few seconds, or for longer periods? Do you fall in the flight path of any airports with aircraft flying below 10,000 feet?

It's possible that the problem is caused by moist air blowing in off the Pacific Ocean. You can prove that if the problem occurs only during an ocean breeze. Yet, if that's the case, I don't have a suggestion to improve your reception of FOX other than raising or lowering the antenna.

I'm 25 miles from the ocean. Do get a sea breeze occasionally.
The signal fades at around 5-10 minute intervals.
I'm near Camp Pendleton, lots of air traffic, not new though
The D/C power is possible. Old wiring in my cellar
The coax is new. Do have alot of low neighborhood trees though
