Opinion about antenna/seller

Does anyone have any experience with this antenna vendor on Ebay:

I am particularly interested in this antenna:

Please ignore the comments about 200 mile range...we all know how that goes. I am more interested in the design and how you all think it would perform for the entire spectrum (lo-vhf, hi-vhf and uhf). Does it look like a knock-off of a commercial brand/model?

He's trying to sell you a $43 (list) AntennaCraft model 5884 that you can currently buy from Radio Shack on sale for $34. It isn't even a knockoff, he's just reselling it for a higher price than you can buy it for in a retail store, plus you get to pay for shipping on top of that. The AC 5884 is one of Antennacraft's lightest weight, "economy" antennas and you can bet that large birds or ice storms will make short work of it if installed outdoors.
