Thanks for all the help. I went looking to purchase a Chimney mount by Ronard, as they seem to be the most suggested mount on the forums.

I'm a single story house, Should only need a few feet off the roof (lets say a 5 ft pole). I'll be using a HBU33 antenna.

I measured my chimney (20.5" x 31.5" x 20.5" x 31.5") and compared to the Ronards. I need aprox an 8.5ft length strap but their minimum is 12ft. I contacted Solid Signal but they were only able to tell me that the strap isnt adjustable, but still suggest a Chimney mount (no suggestion on which).

Any suggestions on what to do? Or another mount to recommend? I do have a small "Decorative" eve in that general vicinity, that could possible be used?

Link to my previous thread about finding the right antenna, in case it helps: http://forum.tvfool.com/showthread.php?t=14888

I like wall mounts below the eave with the mast extending above the roof.

Mmm. Somehow I think the Solid Signal guy is clueless. From what I've seen of chimney mounts (not Ronard) the strap length is the maximum length. The strap folds back over the brackets and is held with a clip. You cut off the excess.

Maybe try buying from the Channelmaster store? They sell chimney mounts too. http://www.channelmasterstore.com/TV_Antenna_Chimney_Mount_p/cm-3080.htm

I was kind of hoping that was the case (they didnt quite know what they were talking about).

Seems to be kind of silly to only offer 3 very specific sizes.

Was hoping someone could chime in that has seen one in person who knows for sure or, as you both have done, offer alternative suggestions.
