My tv is on my sailboat in Belmont Harbor in Chicago. I'm less than
6 miles from the towers. I'm using an RCA ANT1450BR indoor antenna.
The only network channel I get on a constant basis is channel 7(ABC).
I do pick up 5 or 6 other channels but I sure would like to get the other network
channels. Would another type of antenna help?

The 1450 is an amplified antenna. If you are using the amplifier, it is probably being overloaded by the very strong signals. Try it without the amplifier:

The signal strengths are Strong Signal Strengths at your location.
Test reception without the antenna system amplifier.
Disconnect and remove All Parts of the antenna system amplifier.

Here is a antenna that can be installed outside.

Know this.
Tv antennas and other antennas receive the best when the antenna is outside free of obstructions in the direction/s of reception.
