Hi, I would be greatful for an antenna recommendation which I would mount in the attic of my house. Roof is made of composite shingle over plywood. To the east, north/east and south/west are large oak trees. the TV signal analysis is as follows:

I will be using R6 cable with a run of about 30 feet. Need to split into two TVs.
Thanks in advance for your help:)

Attics are not the ideal location for an antenna. However, your description and report offer reasonable hope for success.
I'd suggest you opt for an Antennacraft 'all-channel' such as the C490 if it will fit when pointed at the Empire State Building. If space is tight, I'd carefully measure and go with the largest that will fit in the space. http://www.antennacraft.com/Antennas/AntennasAllChannel.html

As you can see , the tvfool radar plot map shows that the main group of Tv stations are to the North East at about 50 degree magnetic compass direction.

Here is how to aim antennas.

Use a Real and Actual magnetic compass to aim antenna , do not trust a , cell phone , tablet and etc. compass.

Install a.

HD850 , All channel antenna.
Install the HD850 antenna at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind in the directions of reception.
The directions of reception at your location are , North East , North , West North West.
I recommend install the HD850 antenna outside clear of obstructions to the , North East , North , West North West.
A antenna system amplifier is not required.
