Clear Lake, Ia to Rockford Il

This morning I manually tuned in channel 4, had no clue where it was, got to work and punched in the call letters WHBF and it was in the quad cities. I google mapped it at 232 miles but what I would like to know is the miles by the way the crow flies? Also my antenna is still just 10' off the ground and I know weather really affects reception but this seems a little to good to be true! Any help greatly appreciated and thank you.
