It's always best to purchase electronics from a reputable company.
Beware of ridiculous claims of 125-150 mile reception.
I would also NEVER purchase an antenna w/ a built in amp and/ or rotor.

Why do you say that?
What is your reasoning?

1 and 2, are self explanatory.
3. An amp will hurt if you don't need it and these can't be bypassed.
4. These rotors have a terrible reputation for breaking down.

Thank you for the info.
What antenna and rotor do you suggest?
I live in Sacramento and wish to pick up San Francisco and others.
I'm going to dump Direct TV after 20 years.

Well, I think you will get more visibility for your question, here.

It will also be helpful, if you post your TV Fool Report at an address level. (Your address won't show up here)
Rotors can be a tremendous tool, but may hamper the use of multiple sets and/ or DVR programming. Not to mention channel scanning on some tuners.
Good luck!
