I just put up an antenna in Clearwater, Florida. The 3 main stations, CBS, NBC and ABC have transmitters within 1/2 mile of each other. I can receive ABC with 10 'bars' of signal strength but cannot receive CBS or NBC at all.

Can anyone give any insight into why? Is my TV somehow?

Most likely, you installed a UHF-only antenna. The missing stations are VHF towards the lower end of the high band.

What is the make and model number of the antenna??

Please make and post a Tvfool radar report and channel list for your Exact location.

Make the antenna height in the Tvfool radar plot and channel list , 25 feet above ground.

Thanks, AD. I have installed a Channel Master 4228HD, pointed East. I do not have a signal booster and think I need one. I am currently not using any splitters but I will need a 4-way soon, so I should probably be ordering one now.

Make the antenna height in the report 25 feet above ground.

25 feet above ground is a Reference antenna height above ground that provides a good idea of what is receivable.

You need a high-VHF antenna more than you need an amplifier.

At the risk of 'piling on'... Dittos!

Consider the Antennas Direct CS5 or the Antennacraft Y5713... (presuming the generic TV Fool reception report for the Clearwater, FL area is close to describing your situation. (A link to your report would be helpful.)
