My setup is, Channel Master 4221 HD up 20 feet with a channel master 7778 amp, coax is 50 feet to a single TV. Channel 9.1 CFTO from CN tower is a hit and miss,I do get all other channels from tower. http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3d5b94714096c182

CFTO is broadcast on real channel 9, which is high-VHF, and that antenna is designed for UHF only (real 14-51) with much shorter wavelengths. It may receive some VHF if the signal is strong enough, but it's obviously not cutting it for you. Add an H-VHF antenna. A single dipole may be enough, but something like an Antennacraft Y5713, combining with a UVSJ would have a higher likelihood of reliable reception.

Thank You I will look for a new antenna.

That's in addition to the one you're using, not to replace it. But if you only have room for one antenna on your mast, consider one designed for both H-VHF (channels 7-13) plus UHF reception. Since what you have is working to your satisfaction, if it were me, I'd add a VHF antenna, which then also gives you the flexibility to aim it independent of the existing for best reception of the target station. If you don't have the room, then that's another story. It's only $24 at Solid Signal and other places, though I don't know what shipping is. Also need a UVSJ to combine the VHF with the UHF so they don't interfere with each other (from $2 to $10, depending on where you get it), but there are more weather proof types (more money) available if you don't want to seal it up against the weather yourself.

tomfoolery has this one nailed.

Though I'm a big fan of the Antennas Direct UHF/VHF combiner. due to it's weather proof cover, I see it's out of stock at AD and Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Antennas-Direct-EU385CF-Combiner-Connection/dp/B008PBTPN4

The other options are fine. But as tomfoolery has already observed, you'll want to prevent water from getting into the connections.

Radio Shack is not the lowest price option necessarily, but they may be able to source both parts for you.

FYI

Though I'm a big fan of the Antennas Direct UHF/VHF combiner. due to it's weather proof cover, I see it's out of stock at AD and Amazon.

It should be back in stock the first week of May.

I think MCM might still have some stock. If in Canada, check with Save and Replay.
