Hi all,
I'm new here. Indoor rabbit ears just don't cut it where I have problem in receiving ABC on my first floor TVs. I could install an antenna that are not too big in my attic but roof mount is going to be an issue with my better half (not impossible but many discussions I'm sure). I just want to be able to receive the major networks from Philadelphia and cut the cable cord. Please suggest an antenna that will suit my needs.
I have a total of 7 TVs in the house. 2 of these TVs are not DTV ready and love to get a recommendation on digital decoder as well.
My signal analysis:

Thanks,

WPVI is broadcast on real channel 6 so you need an all channel antenna. Signal levels are not too bad, but an outdoor antenna is going to give you a much better opportunity for reliable reception.
The Antennacraft HD1200 would be a good choice, though the larger HD1800 & HD1850 or Winegard HD7084P are all premium solutions that are not overkill.

Thanks Teleview & GroundUrMast for your recommendations. What do you think of a 8 bay bowtie antenna since as HDB8X in the attic or something else you could recommend? It may be an easier install in my attic with many trusses. In addition, access to the attic is a 2'X2.5' hole in my bedroom closet.
Thanks again.

The Current Broadcast Tv Stations/Channels that are being Transmitted and Received in the , USA , Canada , Mexico , are.
VHF low band channels 2 thru 6.
VHF high band channels 7 thru 13.
UHF band channels 14 thru 51.
Your reception location has receivable Tv Stations/Channels in all 3 Tv bands.
--------------------
The HDB8X is a UHF channels 14 thru 51 design antenna.
Because you have ask about the HDB8X UHF antenna , I suspect you have been in contact with solidsignal.
What solidsignal is now doing to people.
It is not just you , many others are coming forward with solidsignal recommended antennas that are not correct for the reception situation.
solidsignal was the #1 place I sent people for antenna and reception devices.
Now soidsignal is pushing antennas that are designed for profit only.
solidsignal has Betrayed the public trust.
I am Very Angry.
Now I Do Not recommend solidsignal.
Other sellers also sell a variety of antennas.
--------------------
If you will like to Reduce the Number of Digital Broadcast Tv Stations/Channels that can be received.
Then Yes you are free to install a antenna in the attic and install any antenna that is recommended.

Teleview,
Amazon claims HDB8X is an UHF/VHF antenna; UHF 60+ miles and 25 miles High Band VHF. No mention of low band VHF at all. I really appreciate for the heads up as I should know better than that.
Thanks again,
Mike
