I few weeks back I picked up an open box Mohu Leaf Ultimate just to do some checking at my home - I know it is probably far from ideal, but decent for testing. Seems it has a bad amplifier that Mohu is going to replace under warranty. However, they were impressed that I received any signal with that unit and sent a link to this site and a signal analysis.
As with almost everyone, I would love to cut the cord and save some money by going over the air and internet streaming only. I was impressed with the quality and sound of the few stations I could pick up with the Leaf. If I could get the yellow and the red channels with a roof mount antenna, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't miss the rest.
My analysis can be found here:

Based on that analysis what would be some suggestions? Right now I could mount to an existing vacated DirecTV J mount. However, I could go higher by utilizing a brick exhaust chimney as a support.
If I can effectively utilize antenna reception, I would be running signals to 6 televisions (only four are connected to cable at the moment)
For those curious souls, I received the following real channels with a non amplified Leaf, depending on room and position: 11, 13 (4 sub channels) and 48.
