First of all this site is awesome. I need as much info as I can get. I will be getting rid of Directv hopefully. I will be installing on my roof. I have not purchased anything yet. I am 2 hrs north of Tampa. 2 hrs east of Orlando. Closest somewhat big city is Ocala Florida - 1/2 hr north of me. Thank you for all your help. Minimum 2 TV's possible up to 4. My report is attached.

What did I do wrong that nobody is responding?

Nothing, we're just slow... :o

A simple system that should offer the major networks and additional programing would be a Winegard HD7698P pointed northward. (Start with due north and fine tune the aim from there. I'd also install an RCA TVPRAMP1R at the antenna.

You'll have the best success if the antenna is not pointed at trees or other obstructions, higher is better if you can do so safely.

After further review the possibility exists, due to trees, I may have to aim my antenna SSE instead of N. Would I still be looking at the same setup that was suggested.

The Tv/s Must Channel Scan for the , OTA=Over The Air , Digital Broadcast Tv stations/channels , often named the ~ DTV Channels ~ Antenna Channels ~ Air Channels ~ in the Tv Setup Menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the Air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

Some digital Tv's will Automatic channel scan for cable Tv channels.

DO NOT channel scan for cable Tv channels.

Go into the Digital Tv Setup Menu and select ~ DTV Channels ~ Antenna Channels ~ Air Channels.

Scan for channels.

Long time coming finally hooked up and no more Directv. Here is what I ended up using so far. HD Stacker with RCA TVPRAMP1R amp on roof 25-30 ft high and I am receiving these stations. 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 20.1, 20.2, 44.1, 47.1, 51.1 and 51.2. Should I be receiving more signals? If I tweak a little do you think I can get 28.1 I am currently aimed 20° http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3de1c68a2363a359
