Looking for recomendations to receive as many channels as possible to the north and the south. Preferably without a rotor. Will have trees at a 25 ft and higher with roof top placement in each direction. Could possibly mount at 10-15 ft and miss the trees.?? Looking to run 3 TVs and don't have any equipment.

The Current Tv channels that are being transmitted and received in the

USA , Canada, Mexico , are

VHF low band channels 2 thru 6

VHF high band channels 7 thru 13

UHF band channels 14 thru 51

Your location has receivable channels in All 3 Tv channel bands.

Recommend install a Channel Master CM5016 All Channel antenna for reception of as many Tv stations/channels as possible to the , south and north , with the CM5016 antenna aimed in 1 direction , about 170 degree magnetic compass direction.

Here is how to aim antennas , www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html

Use a Real and Actual magnetic compass to aim antenna.

----------

The signal strengths are strong at your location.

Test reception without a antenna system amplifier.

Test reception with a Winegard , LNA-100 'Boost' amplifier.

----------

Test reception with CM5016 antenna low to the ground.

Test reception with CM5016 antenna above the roof.

-------------

Here are some places to buy antennas and etc. .

-----------

As Always , trees and tree leave , plants and plant leaves , have a Negative Effect on Broadcast Tv Reception

Absorbing , blocking , Reception

Multi-Path reflecting signals bouncing around

And so do buildings and other obstructions including your own roof and building:

The Best Pratice is to install the antenna at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind in the directions of reception including your own roof and building.

The Tv/s Must Channel Scan for the , OTA=Over The Air , Digital Broadcast Tv stations/channels , often named the , DTV Channels ~ Air Channels ~ Antenna Channels , in the Tv setup Menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the Air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.

Some digital Tv's / digital tuners , will Automatic channel scan for cable Tv channels.

DO NOT channel scan for cable Tv channels.

Go into the Tv Setup Menu and select , DTV Channels ~ Air Channels ~ Antenna Channels .

AKA , ATSC channels / 8VSB channels .

Scan for channels.

----------

Digital Tv tuners can develop -Digital Glitches- that are not cleared out with simple channel scans.

Do Double Rescan , www.wchstv.com/DoubleReScanAlert.pdf

Yes , to receive as many channels as possible to the South and North with 1 antenna aimed in 1 direction with no antenna rotation , install the CM5016.

--------

As you stated , you think you can install the antenna at 10 to 15 feet above ground and miss the trees.

Meaning the main bulk of the tree limbs and leaves , and have the tree trunks in the directions of reception.

Yes you can install the antenna down low and see what reception is like.

So that no one thinks that vegitation such as and not limited to , trees and tree leaves , plants and plants and plants leaves , do not have a negative impact on broadcast Tv reception.

Here is the Clear Truth

Trees and tree leaves, plants and plant leaves , have a Negative Effect on broadcast Tv reception

Absorbing , Blocking , Tv Reception

Mult-Path Reflecting Tv signals bouncing around off the , trees and tree leaves , plants and plant leaves.
