I am wondering if a pre-amp will help my situation, and if so, what the best one is for my setup.
The problem I'm trying to solve - there is a channel or two that will occasionally get pixelated and “stutter.†It isn't a big deal, but annoying enought that I want to eliminate it permanently. Will a pre-amp help?
My information:
Channel Master CM 4221A 4-Bay Bowtie Antenna, mounted in the rafters in my garage
I am 28 miles from the towers, all the local channels use the same tower farm
The channels I want are in the “green zone†for signal strength, based on the TVFool map tool
I am at the bottom of a hill, with the towers over the hill
I have a 50 ft run of quad shield coax from the antenna to the 3-way splitter
The splitter then feeds 3 tuners
