I would like to know about how to connect 3 old TVs to a Clearstream 2 antenna installed in the attic of my house.

I have a TV in each of the three floors of the house: The one in the basement has a HD access converter box and 15 meter of coaxial cable up to the antenna; The TV located on the first floor has a Magnavox converter box, with 11 meters of coaxial cable. Another TV is located in the master bedroom on the third floor with 9 meters of coaxial and a Zenith DTV turner 901. I presently get channels 10, 13, 14, 18, 20, 31, 51 and 69 with this TV; When I tune manually, I can see a weak signal for channels 6 and 17; however, this signal is not steady and very weak. Is it a way to get these weak signals improved?

Thank you!

My location is in the below link.

Move the CS2 antenna to above the peak of the roof in such a manner that reception is not blocked by the roof and building in the directions of , North East , East , South , South West.

Aime the antenna at about 60 degree magnetic compass direction.

Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.

Install <-> One 1 <-> Winegard , LNA-100 'Boost' , antenna system amplifier.

Install the LNA-100 , somewhere between the antenna and splitter if there is a splitter.

For 1 Tv connected use No splitter.

For 2 Tv's connected use a simple common 2 way splitter.

For 3 Tv's connected use a simple common 3 way splitter.

Here are some places to buy.

If the CS2 antenna has no antenna mount.

Then use a Winegard , DS3000 , J pole type antenna mount.

Thanks for your answer, I would like to know if, the amplifier is located right after the antenna or is needed before each TV instead..
thanks

The amplifier's job is to overcome losses in cable and splitters. To do that job requires that the amplifier be located upstream of the loss... It can only 'push' signal down the line. An amplifier can not 'pull' signal from the coax, antenna or the air.

So, one amplifier close to the antenna will out-perform one at each TV.

Thanks, I was looking at the manual for the Winegard LNA100 booster, so I should need to install an electric outlet in the attic?

Hello, After a few days after we installed LNA-100 'Boost' in the attic before the splitter we started noticing some new channels in the TV with the Zenith DTV turner 901 but only at night and each night was a change in the number of channels that we received, one night we got 17 channels. In this case what I can do to get a few of this night signals permanently.

Is the CS2 antenna installed above the roof in such a manner that the roof and house are not impeding and blocking reception , and aimed at about 60 degree magnetic compass direction??

As always , trees and tree leaves , plants and plant leaves , have a Negative effect ,

multi-path/reflections Tv signals bouncing off the trees and tree leaves ,

trees and tree leaves absorbing Tv signals ,

trees and tree leaves blocking Tv reception ,

of broadcast Tv reception and so do buildings and other obstructions including your own roof and house.

The Best Practice is to install the antenna at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind in the directions of reception including your own roof and house.
