what type outdoor antenna is best and what direction to aim for best reception? I would like to get all the channels I can but chan 13 WLOS I could do without if I had to.

I tried to research it some and it gets more confusing lol. Indoor works ok but not consistent. It works some days and others it loses signal or pixilates.

Above the Peak of the Roof in such a manner that the roof and house are not impeding and blocking reception to the , North East , North , North West.

Install a AntennaCraft HBU33 antenna aimed at about 337 degree magnetic compass direction.

Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.
