I am cutting the DirecTv cord and going with a combination of OTA and streamming... I got the streamming part down and ready to takle OTA...
First off here is my TV Fool report (http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3d1dda70a3ec5afb)
I am interested in receiving the stations from 3 to 9 degree magnetic as well as the stations from the 225 to 227 degree magnetic... I understand this will require a rotor or dual systems...
I am aware of the closer tower at 104 degree magnetic...That tower is owned by the county (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accomack_County,_Virginia#Media) to translate and rebroadcast only the major (ie. ABC, CBS, NBC, & PBS) channels from the 214 degree stations... This tower is very low power, broadcasts at 480i, and does not include any sub channels from the parent broadcast... I rather try to pick up these broadcasts directly...
The coax runs would be approx. 75 foot from the antenna to the distribution point (a CM-3414) and then another 20 to 50 foot to the TVs...
Any suggestions you might have to help in my situtation...
Thanks in advance!!!
