I made another thread for this because a search didn't get me a lot of info on FM Traps and I thought and answer might help future posters.....

I trying to sort out why channels RF19 and RF20 (2-1 and 5-1) are having problems while stations farther away are, I read some where that strong local radio stations can screw up reception.

What are the pros and cons of an FM trap and when would you use?

Are RF19 and RF20 within the frequency range where FM interferes?

It is possible, but extremely rare that FM can affect UHF reception. Can you attach the image of the FM Fool report. Unfortunately copying the URL for FM Fool only works on the home page.

It would likely be faster to simply run by a Radio Shack and pick up a 15-0024 FM Filter and give it a try. Don't loose the receipt, just in case.

As noted, FM intermods in the UHF band are pretty rare and you'd have to be quite close to the FM signals. I can see that there are several potential FM stations in your city that might cause these problems, so just trying the filter would be worth it.
