I am giving up on Dish and trying to find a good antenna to mount where my current satellite antenna is.
Location analysis: http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3d1dda24d6d224e9
I am also looking for something "smaller" that will get the job done and was thinking RCA751R mounted ~5ft.
Thanks.

A Simple reception situation.
For Reliable Reception.
Above the Peak Of The Roof in such a manner that roof and house are not blocking reception to the , south east , groups , of Digital Tv stations/channels.
Install a Winegard HD7696P antenna aimed at about 120 degree magnetic compass direction.
Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.
Here are some antenna mounts.
http://www.ronard.com/909911.html , if using a tripod antenna mount use the 5 foot antenna mount.
http://www.ronard.com/34424560.html. If using the eave antenna mount use the #4560.

Buy the ronard antenna mounts at solidsignal by typing the word ronard in the solidsignal search box or buy from ronard.

As always , trees and tree leaves do a good job of , reflecting , reducing , blocking , Digital Broadcast Tv reception and so do buildings and other obstructions including your own house and roof.
It is best to install the HD7696P antenna at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind in the directions of reception including your own roof and house.
The Tv/s Must Channel Scan for the OTA = Over The Air Digital Broadcast Tv channels , often named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv setup menu because the OTA channels travel Over The Air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.
Some Digital Tv's will automatic channel scan for cable tv channels.
DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.
Go into the Tv setup menu and select , 'Air Channels' / 'Antenna Channels'.

The ANT-751 would work, but not do as well with the weaker signals. As you go down the list in your TVFR, I would expect you to have trouble with some of the edge path signals in the yellow section.
I would opt for the larger antenna that teleview has suggested. It will give you more signal strength making reception more reliable and give you a better chance at the weaker signals.

Thanks! I'll check into using that antenna but would prefer the RCA751R (if possible) as it would fit where my old dish was located.
No static at all

The ANT-751 will work fine for all the majors from Norfolk. If you are interested in the Va Beach stations or WSKY, I would suggest the compact Winegard 7694.
