Hello I'm new to Forums so here goes I live in Camas Washington and have been trying to get OTA for a while now I contacted Solid Signal and was told that I would need a 10' X 10' Yagi in order to receive all the stations that are around 16 miles from my location. This seems to be a little on the large size, but I do have a hill between me and the broadcasters. I'm attaching my signal report and am wondering if I might be able to use a Smaller Size Antenna if possible. I would like to buy one Antenna and have it work.
Thanks to all.

Above the roof in such a manner that the roof and house do not block reception to the , south west and south , install a Winegard HD7698P antenna with a Winegard HDP-269 preamp aimed at about 215 degree magnetic compass direction.
Here is how to aim antennas , http://www.kyes.com/antenna/pointing/pointing.html.
Here are some above the roof antenna mounts.
http://www.ronard.com/909911.html if using tripod antenna mount use a 5 foot tripod antenna mount.
http://www.ronard.com/34424560.html if uaing a eave antenna mount use the #4560.

Buy the ronard antenna mounts at solidsignal by typing the word ronard in the solidsignal search box or buy from ronard.

As always , trees and tree leaves do a real good job of , reflecting , reducing , blocking , Digital Tv reception and so do buildings and other obstructions including your own roof and house.
It is best to install the antenna at a location that has the least amount to no amount of obstructions of any type or kind in the directions including your own roof and house.
The Tv/s Must Channel Scan for the Digital Broadcast Tv Channels , often named the 'Air Channels' or 'Antenna Channels' in the Tv setup menu because the Tv transmissions travel through the air from the transmitting antenna to the receiving antenna.
Some Digital Tv's will automatic channel scan for cable tv channels.
DO NOT channel scan for cable tv channels.
Go into the Tv setup menu and select , Digital , 'Air Channels' / 'Antenna Channels'.

Thanks soo much for all the info, this antenna looks to be a much better fit over all. just FYI I have tried to made my own 4 element Bow Tie but it did not pick up all the channels regularly, (it was mounted on the Roof).
Thanks again for all your help.

Antenna projects that are on the internet are --> antenna projects that are on the internet.
Antenna projects are Experimental.
Antenna projects are for to learn something.
The 4 bay bow tie design antenna is a standard production type antenna for a long time now.
There are no antenna projects that I know of that are , "super secret classified designs" that will out preform , standard production antennas.
And there is no one antenna design that is good for all reception situations.
Yes a antenna can be designed to receive better at specific frequencies.
They are known as , cut to channel antennas , and are are available as standard production antennas.
For 99.5% of reception situation situations , standard production model antennas are all that is required or needed for reliable reception.
And here is a Truth.
There is no such antenna as a HD antenna.
HD Antennas were invented in Marketing Departments as a way to sell more antennas.
